Biography

The Mercedes-Benz AMG C 63 S Coupe (C205) is a high-performance version of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe (C205), manufactured and produced by Mercedes-Benz, unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car is based on the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe (C205) and modified by Mercedes-AMG GmbH. The car is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 M177 twin-turbo engine with a maximum horsepower of 510 PS (503 hp; 375 kW) torque at 5,500-6,250 rpm and 700 N·m (516 lb·ft) at 1,750-4,500 rpm. Paired with the V8 twin-turbo engine is a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT dual-clutch transmission. The acceleration time from 0-100 km/h is 3.9 seconds (0-60 mph is 3.8 seconds), and the top speed limit is 250 km/h (155 mph), but this is increased to 290 km/h (180 mph) with the optional AMG Driver's Package. The car went on sale in 2016. In 2018, the AMG C 63 S Coupe received a mid cycle refresh, the front grille was changed to AMG Panamericana, and the gearbox was changed to 9-speed AMG Speedshift.
