The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S (C190) is a two-door, two-seater sports car built by Mercedes-Benz in Sindelfingen that was unveiled on September 9, 2014, followed by the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The car is powered by a new 4.0-litre V8 M178 DE 40 AL twin-turbo engine developed by Mercedes-AMG, with a displacement of 3,982 cc (243 cu in) and a maximum horsepower of 510 PS (503 hp; 375 kW) at 6,250 rpm and 650 N·m (479 lb·ft) at 1,750-4,750 rpm.
