The Bounty of Ryder Part II premiered in London on October 6th, 2026, and was released on November 11th; the film received widespread acclaim with praise for its visual style, Costner's direction, the action sequences, Hans Zimmer's musical score, emotion, and performances —namely Armstrong, Cage, Judge, and Jackson. It grossed over $1.56 billion worldwide, the first Western film to pass the $1 billion dollar mark, and thus making it the highest-grossing Western film and the third-highest-grossing R-rated film of all time. A sequel to the first film entitled The Bounty of Ryder Part III: Blood or High Honor was released the following year.
