Biography
Meredith VanCuyk is a newcoming American actress, dancer, martial artist, theatre performer and model from Ohio. She's most known for her roles in Zack Znyder's franchise Rebel Moon (2023-2024), The Fablemans, Nope!, Westworld, For All Mankind, Barry, and Criminal Minds. VanCuyk is represented by The Rock Agency and Heyman Talent.
She born in Charlotte, North Carolina, but raised in the northern suburbs of Columbus, Ohio, where she spent hours in the dance studio learning various disciplines of dance. Choosing to focus on Irish dance gave her the opportunity to travel North America and compete at the champion level.
From a young age, Meredith took every opportunity to participate in theatrical projects and in 2018, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the arts.
Meredith loves the creativity in the acting world and has worked on several notable projects such as: Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), The Fabelmans (2022), Fast X (2023), Westworld (2016) and Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire (2023). She also had a supporting role in television movie Love's Second Act (2024) and action thriller Wages of Sin.
She has been nominated for Best Actress for her portrayal as Gabbi Reynolds in feature thriller Woman in the Maze (2023) at Love and Hope International Film Festival in Barcelona and Green Jack International Film Festival.
Her wide range of talents and skill sets are trained for both practical use and on-camera etiquette. These include sword and knife fighting, Suh Do Kwan, Kung Fu, Kali (Filipino martial arts), boxing, MMA, firearms, taekwondo, archery, horseback riding (both English and Western), parkour and stage combat, as well as several dance disciplines including cheerleading, hip hop, Irish, tap, ballet, jazz and performance kick line. Her formal acting training includes Ivana Chubbuck Studios (masterclass), Second City Improv Hollywood, Robert D'Avanzo Studios, BGB Studios, Howard Fine Studios, Alyson Horn Studios, Killian's Studios and more. Meredith is also a member of The International Thespian Society.
