Biography
Vancouver-born Olivia Morandin is a versatile individual with a passion for the arts. She is known to be a breeze to work with and is repeatedly praised for her confidence, courtesy, discipline and maturity. With a lifelong background in dance and acting, her innate ability to perform never fails to captivate an audience.
Olivia stepped on to the scene as Zoe Neuman in season three of Amazon’s Emmy nominated ‘The Boys’, and was asked to reprise her role for season four. She has also made appearances on Supergirl (CW), and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (NBC). She has trained with renowned acting studios McIlroy & Associates and King Creative Studios in Vancouver. Olivia’s devotion toward acting is unmatched, and she is often applauded for her capability to apply any notes given to her, and for her ability to find the depth of a character.
Olivia’s love to entertain doesn’t stop at the screen, but it makes its way to the stage as well. She is an award winning dancer who has been dancing competitively since the age of three. She has trained at Surrey Dance Centre, Dancewest Studios, and is currently at PULSE Dance Centre in Greater Vancouver, practicing the art form for over thirty hours a week. Olivia has been fortunate enough to have competed at prestigious competitions such as the Youth American Grand Prix and The Dance Awards, and is grateful for the opportunity it has given her to work closely with acclaimed coaches and choreographers. Olivia is honoured to have received plenty of scholarships including Nuvo Dance Convention’s Breakout Artist, Jump Dance Convention’s VIP, and 24/Seven’s Non-Stop Dancer. Over the years, she has participated in summer intensives such as Joshua Beamish’s MOVETHECOMPANY Intensive, and the Alberta Ballet Professional Division Intensive, where she was offered a spot in their full year program.
Since the young age of three, Olivia Morandin knew dance was what she wanted to pursue. Being a highly competitive dancer, she has since then dedicated her life to dance and enjoys performing in front of huge audiences. She is known for being very versatile, and quite the firecracker.
Olivia started by taking ballet classes at Surrey Dance Centre in September 2011 then moved to DanceWest Studios in September 2013 where she started engaging in more genres of dance- jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, tap, hip hop, stage, song and dance and acrobatics. While at DanceWest Studios, she has won several awards and scholarships such as being a Merited Participant at the B.C. Provincials in 2019, participating in Synergy Dance Competition's Provincials in 2018, performing in the Chilliwack Lions Club Honours Performance in 2019, and being named Junior V.I.P Winner at Jump Dance Convention in late 2019.
At school, Olivia is an excellent student who loves to explore new topics and engage in activities. She is known for being a social butterfly as well as being a passionate and helpful person. In both Grade 5 and Grade 6, Olivia was invited to the Challenge Program classes that the Surrey School district holds. Outside of school and dance, Olivia loves playing video games, golfing and making memories with friends.
Olivia made her television debut in early 2020 where she appeared in the TV series Supergirl (CW) and in Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist (NBC).
