Henry and Agnes

In England in 1820, 28-year-old Henry Watson, a young gentleman in the London salon world, meets Agnes Hale( née James), a widow 10 years older than him. Despite the social conventions which dictated that a man should be older than his partner, a deep bond begins to develop between them. She overcame the fears and sadness that had overwhelmed her. She realised that she could empower herself and find peace. She did not know how long she would remain in the Valley of Days and Nights. Maybe days, maybe months, maybe years. But one thing was certain. it was not a place she wanted to run away from. It was her refuge, where she could discover herself and begin to build her new life.

Something I remember...
