The worldwide law-enforcement organization known as A.R.G.U.S. (Advanced Research Group United Support) employs an elite team of agents who investigate strange occurrences around the globe and beyond. Its members -- each of whom brings a specialty to the group -- work to protect those who cannot protect themselves from extraordinary and inconceivable threats, including a formidable group known as Kobra. The series is set in the DC Cinematic Universe and acknowledges the continuity of the franchise's films and other television series.
Doctor Mid-Nite: Reborn (2025-
Doctor Mid-Nite: Reborn begins several years after the events of Doctor Mid-Nite (2015–2018), and a year after blind lawyer Pieter Cross stopped his activities as the masked vigilante Doctor Mid-Nite. In the first season, Cross continues his fight for justice as a surgeon while former crime boss Bruno Mannheim is elected mayor of New York City, putting the pair on a collision course. After Mannheim consolidates power, declares martial law, and begins targeting vigilantes, the second season sees him hunting Doctor Mid-Nite. Cross goes underground and gathers allies to resist Mannheim's corruption and his Anti-Vigilante Task Force (AVTF).
Doctor Mid-Nite (2015-2018)
The first season sees surgeon-by-day Pieter Cross use his heightened vision and senses from being blinded by a drug to fight crime at night on the streets of New York City's Midtown East neighborhood as Doctor Mid-Nite while uncovering a conspiracy of the criminal underworld being led by Bruno Mannheim. In the second season, Cross continues to balance life as a surgeon and Doctor Mid-Nite, while crossing paths with Adrian Chase/Vigilante, a vigilante with far deadlier methods, as well as the return of an ex-girlfriend—Jade Nguyen/Cheshire. In the third season, after Mannheim is released from prison, Cross, who has been missing for months following the events of The Outsiders, reemerges as a broken man and must decide between hiding from the world as a criminal surgeon, or embracing his life as a hero vigilante.
