The First Avenger
In New York City in 1943, Steve Rogers is rejected by a World War II military recruiter because of various health and physical problems. While attending an exhibition of future technologies with his best friend, James Barnes, Rogers again attempts to enlist with an alias. Overhearing Rogers' conversation with Barnes about wanting to help in the war, Dr. Abraham Erskine allows Rogers to enlist. He is recruited into the Strategic Scientific Reserve as part of a "super-soldier" experiment under Erskine, Colonel Chester Phillips, and British agent Peggy Carter. Phillips is unconvinced by Erskine's claims that Rogers is the right person for the procedure but relents after seeing Rogers jump on a grenade to save his comrades, unaware it's a test.

The First Mutant
In 1915, Winston Churchill sought out vibranium in the Antarctic so he sent out an expedition to recover it. While on the sea, their ship was lost in a savage storm that tore it apart and was believed to have shipwrecked. However, there was one survivor: a crew member by the name of Leonard McKenzie. Due to the severity of the storm, everyone back home believed that the entire crew had perished, but what should have been his demise was a miracle instead. He was saved by Princess Fen, who had exploring the surface after they caught sight of the ship. She was taken by the young seaman and decided to rescue the man, taking him to shore and watching over him until he recovered. After swiftly falling in love, the two of them realized that Emperor Thakorr, the Princesses father, would never approve of the union so they hid away, but it was no use. Her father sent Atlantean soldiers to retrieve her while unknowingly pregnant.

The series begins with the return of Upper East Side teenage "it girl" Serena van der Woodsen from a mysterious absence. She is reunited with her frenemy Blair Waldorf and her mother Lily, and she also meets Dan Humphrey —an aspiring writer from Brooklyn who is one of Serena's main love interests throughout the show. Other main characters include Nate Archibald, Chuck Bass, Jenny Humphrey, Vanessa Abrams, Rufus Humphrey and Ivy Dickens.

Aladdin
Jafar, the Royal Vizier of the fictional city of Agrabah, placed near the Jordan River, and his parrot Iago seek a lamp hidden within the Cave of Wonders. They are told that only one person is worthy to enter: "the diamond in the rough", whom Jafar later identifies as Aladdin, an Agrabah street urchin. Princess Jasmine of Agrabah is upset that the law requires her to marry a prince instead of one she loves, escapes the palace, and meets Aladdin and his pet monkey, Abu. The palace guards capture Aladdin on Jafar's orders. Jasmine confronts Jafar to demand Aladdin's release, but he lies and says Aladdin has been executed.

Beauty and the Beast
An enchantress disguised as a beggar woman offers a rose to a cruel and selfish prince in exchange for shelter from a storm. When he refuses, she reveals her identity. As punishment for the prince's arrogance, the enchantress transforms him into a beast and his servants into household objects. She casts a spell on the rose and warns the prince that the spell will only be broken if he learns to love another and be loved in return before the last petal falls, or he will remain a beast forever.

The Little Mermaid
Ariel is a 16-year-old mermaid princess dissatisfied with underwater life in the kingdom of Atlantica, a fantasy kingdom near the coast of Norway in the Atlantic Ocean. She is fascinated by the human world. With her best friend Flounder, Ariel collects human artifacts in her grotto and visits Scuttle, a seagull who offers inaccurate knowledge of human culture. She ignores the warnings of her father King Triton, the ruler of Atlantica, and Sebastian, a crab who serves as Triton's adviser and court composer, that contact between merpeople and humans is forbidden.

The Sword in the Stone
After the King of England, Uther Pendragon, dies, leaving no heir to the throne, a sword appears inside an anvil in London, with an inscription proclaiming that whoever removes the sword is the rightful King of England. None succeed in removing the sword, which becomes forgotten, leaving England in the Dark Ages. Years later, a 12-year-old orphan named Arthur, commonly called Wart, accidentally scares off a deer his older foster brother Sir Kay was hunting, causing Kay to launch his arrow into the forest. In attempting to retrieve the arrow, Arthur meets Lord Merlin, an elderly wizard who lives with his talking pet owl Archimedes. Merlin declares himself Arthur's tutor and returns with him to his home, a castle run by Lord Ector, Arthur's foster father and Kay’s father. Ector's friend, Sir Pellinore, arrives to announce that the annual jousting tournament will be held in London, and the winner will be crowned king. Ector decides to put Kay through serious training for the tournament and appoints Arthur as Kay's squire.

Sleeping Beauty
After many childless years, King Stefan and Queen Leah welcome a daughter, the Princess Aurora. A holiday is proclaimed to pay homage to the princess. At her christening, Aurora is betrothed to Prince Phillip, the son of King Stefan's closest friend King Hubert, to unite their kingdoms.

Peter Pan
In London, England, circa 1900, George and Mary Darling's preparations to attend a party are disrupted by the antics of their boys, John and Michael, who are acting out a story about Peter Pan. Wendy, their elder sister, tells them stories of Peter Pan every night. George, who is fed up with the stories, declares that Wendy has gotten too old to continue staying in the nursery with the boys. That night, Wendy and the boys are visited in the nursery by Peter Pan himself, who teaches them to fly with the unwilling help of his pixie friend, Tinker Bell. He takes them with him to the island of Never Land.

Alice in Wonderland
Alice becomes bored with her sister's history lesson on the Norman conquest of England and expresses her want of adventure, leading her to a riverbank. There, Alice spots a passing White Rabbit in a waistcoat, exclaiming that he is "late for a very important date." She gives chase, following him into a large hole. She sees him leave through a tiny door, whose talking knob advises her to shrink to an appropriate height by drinking from a bottle marked "Drink Me." She does so and floats out through the keyhole into a sea of her own tears, which she cried after eating a biscuit marked "Eat Me," beforehand which made her grow very large. As she continues to follow the Rabbit, she encounters numerous characters, including Tweedledum and Tweedledee, who recount the tale of "The Walrus and the Carpenter."

Cinderella
Cinderella is living a dissatisfying life, having lost both parents at a young age and being forced to work as a scullery maid in her own château. Her stepmother, Lady Tremaine, is cruel to her, and she is jealous of Cinderella's charm and beauty. Additionally, her two stepsisters, Drizella and Anastasia, cruelly take advantage of her. Despite this, Cinderella is a kind and gentle young woman. She is friends with mice and kind to birds that live in and around the château. She protects the small animals from Lady Tremaine's cat Lucifer. Meanwhile, at the royal palace, the King is frustrated that his son, the Prince, still is not married. He and the Grand Duke organize a ball to find a suitable wife for the bored and picky Prince, requesting every eligible maiden attend. Upon receiving notice of the ball, Lady Tremaine agrees to let Cinderella go if she finishes her chores and can find a suitable dress to wear.

Pinocchio
Jiminy Cricket, after singing "When You Wish Upon A Star", explains to the audience that he is going to tell a story of a wish coming true. His story begins in the Italian workshop of a woodworker named Geppetto. Jiminy watches as Geppetto finishes work on a wooden marionette whom he names Pinocchio. Before falling asleep, Geppetto wishes on a star that Pinocchio will be a real boy.
