Wonder Woman: Earth One Season One
Queen Hippolyta is being subdued by Hercules, who has chained her and wants to make her an example for the other Amazons, which are prisoners in a cage. Hippolyta prays to Aphrodite for help, who talks to her and lets her know that, by taking a stolen girdle Hercules has on his waist, he will be unprotected. She takes the girdle as Hercules insists in demanding Hippolyta to tell him what she has learned from him. She answers by attacking him and breaking his neck and her chains. Hippolyta frees the Amazons and leads them to battle against the arriving Greek army. After the battle, Hippolyta asks Aphrodite to allow the Amazons to retire from the world of Men and prosper in peace.

The book continues on with Claire trying to fit in to the clique and Massie trying to hold on to her spot as leader.

Kingdom Hearts
Kingdom Hearts begins with Sora's Dive to the Heart, which foreshadows the events that will soon take place, but soon progresses to Destiny Islands, where Sora lives with his two best friends, Riku and Kairi. The three friends seek to leave the islands to explore new worlds and have prepared a raft for this purpose. One night, the islands are attacked by darkness and shadow creatures. Sora seeks out his friends, finding Riku first; Riku disappears into darkness, curious about what it contains. Soon after, Sora obtains a mysterious weapon, the Keyblade, to defend himself. Using it to fend off the creatures, he heads for a secret cave, where he finds Kairi near a door. She turns to him, saying his name as the door behind her blows open. The ensuing blast of darkness sends Sora and Kairi both out of the cave. The islands are soon destroyed, and Sora is left adrift, Riku and Kairi's whereabouts unknown.

Ever After High: Apple White's Story
Apple White is packing for a new year at Ever After High. She is aided by servants, dwarfs, and woodland creatures, who manage to make the whole process run smoothly enough that Apple can spend time on the social aspect of leaving. She and Briar text a little, after which Apple goes to the balcony to receive support from her faithful subjects in regards to Legacy Day as well as leave them a few kind words to remember her by for the school year to come. Soon enough, Apple finds herself in the courtyard saying goodbye to her parents, the dwarfs, and the staff. Everyone wishes her well, reminding her of the importance of Legacy Day, and Apple happily takes the encouragement, thinking that everyone must have noticed how hard she's already worked for her destiny. However, her departure ends on a sour note when she overhears some of the staff tying her destiny to nothing deeper than her beauty. She vows she'll prove she is worth more than just her appearance.
