The film opens with the inspection of Leonidas as a baby, followed by his admission into the Agoge at age 7. His trials in the Agoge are briefly touched on, showcasing him brawling with other Spartan boys and by age 15 is left out in the wilderness alone. It is alluded to that the rest of Sparta presumes him to be dead. It is at this point he's confronted by a large wolf and fearlessly defeats it. He returns to Sparta, claiming his kingship in the process. Years later, Sparta is approached by an emissary and his guards who warns of the impending defeat of Sparta by Xerxes and his Persian army. Leonidas, now grown and married with a young boy, defies Xerxes by killing the emissarys body guards and casting them all in addition to the emissary into a deep pit. Leonidas then seeks the approval of the Ephors, prophets to the ancient Greek kings, to lead the Spartan army to war against Persia. The Ephors consult their oracle and deny Leonidas permission to go to war, claiming that they must honor a sacred religious festival, else Sparta will fall. Leonidas suspects the Ephors motives, and bitterly returns home to his wife. It is soon revealed that the Ephors are being bribed by Xerxes with gold in order to withold Sparta from fully partaking in the war.

The Terrifics
Inventor Michael Holt is convinced that evolution was triggered millions of years ago on Earth by clouds of cosmic radioactive energy in space, and has calculated that one of these clouds is soon going to pass near Earth. Together with his friend, adventurer Rex Mason, Holt convinces Aaron Stone, his former classmate at MIT and now CEO of Stone Industries, to allow him access to his privately-owned space station to test the effects of a biological sample with exposure to the cloud. Stone agrees in exchange for control over the experiment and a majority of the profits from whatever benefits that it brings. Holt brings aboard his ex-girlfriend and Stone's chief genetics researcher, Linnya Wazzo, and her hot-headed ex-thief half-brother, Patrick O'Brian.

Game of Thrones: Season 2
Season 2 spans several months on a world where the seasons last for years at a time. Superman III
In this third installment, a computer genius named Gus Gorman is brought into the employ of Ross Webster, who has designs on ruling the world. However, all of his schemes are thwarted by Superman. Webster then orders Gorman to use his computer knowledge to create synthetic Kryptonite after remembering a Daily Planet story about the last original chunk disappearing years earlier after falling to Earth. (Whether Webster is referring to the Kryptonite robbery in Superman is unclear.) After scanning the coordinates of Krypton's former location via satellite, the results show a small percentage of an unknown component. The substitution of tar (which Gorman used after glancing at a cigarette carton) for a crucial, but unknown, component resulted in the synthetic kryptonite behaving like Red and Black Kryptonite: in this case, turning Superman evil and eventually split him into two people.

Superman II
The film begins with a prologue in which General Zod and his co-conspirators, Ursa and Non, are banished to the Phantom Zone by the Kryptonian elders as punishment for their crimes. The story then moves forward in time. Clark learns from Perry White that Lois is in France, where terrorists who have seized the Eiffel Tower and threatened to level the city with a hydrogen bomb. While in the course of rescuing Lois, the bomb is activated and Superman throws the elevator out of the atmosphere and into deep space, where it explodes. The shockwaves shatter the crystalline conduit into the Phantom Zone, now floating near Earth and Zod, Non, and Ursa are released. Lex Luthor, meanwhile, finally breaks out of jail with the help of Ms. Teschmacher using a hot air balloon, but leaves Otis behind as bait so he can escape. Using the black box device, he goes north to the Fortress of Solitude. Luthor, activating the Fortress control panel, then learns from hologram recordings of Jor-El about the three Kryptonian villains who have escaped. He decides that he will collaborate with the Kryptonian villains to defeat Superman and take over the world.

Superman: The Movie
The film consists of three major segments, each with its own style and tone. The first part deals with the last days of Krypton, the child Kal-El's journey from Krypton to Earth, and his discovery by the Kents. The second part concerns the teenage Clark Kent's life in Smallville and the beginnings of discovering who he is. The third part follows the adult Clark Kent and his emergence as Superman in Metropolis.

The Authority
Following the decimation of StormWatch and the destruction of SkyWatch by an alien infestation, former member of StormWatch Black, Jenny Sparks, created The Authority alongside her StormWatch Black teammates Swift and Jack Hawksmoor, with the goal to change the world, no matter what it takes. Among their members are The Engineer (Angela Spica) (the successor of the original Engineer), Jeroen Thornedike (the latest Doctor), Apollo and Midnighter (two former members of Henry Bendix's StormWatch Zero). The Authority made their first public appearance to stop Kaizen Gamorra, an old enemy of StormWatch, who wanted to take advantage of StormWatch's breakup to take revenge upon the world. To do this he used engineered super-soldiers to destroy first Moscow and then part of London. The Authority managed to stop the attack on London, then predicted the third and final attack in Los Angeles in time to avert it. Midnighter ended Gamorra's threat by using the Carrier to destroy the superhuman clone factory on Gamorra's island.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
On the night of 1 November 1981, celebrated wizard Albus Dumbledore and his deputy Minerva McGonagall meet up on Privet Drive in the Surrey town Little Whinging and discuss of the deaths of James and Lily Potter , whose one-year-old son Harry Potter is to be brought to them by their half-giant associate Rubeus Hagrid. Sometime later, Hagrid arrives with the sleeping infant Harry on a flying motorcycle. As the three walk to the front lawn of Privet Drive house #4, McGonagall initially objects to Dumbledore leaving Harry with the Muggle family that lives there known as the Dursleys, as she sees them as the "worst sort of Muggles" after spying on them day by day in her Animagus form (a silver tabby cat). Dumbledore tells her that the Dursleys are the only living relatives Harry has left since his mother's sister Petunia is the only Dursley that had Lily's blood in her which ensured the protection of Harry and his family. After Dumbledore places Harry on the doorstep with a letter, he wishes him luck before he, McGonagall, and Hagrid depart.

Game of Thrones: Season 1
Season 1 spans a period of several months on a world where the seasons last for years at a time. The action begins in the unified Seven Kingdoms of Westeros as the long summer ends and winter draws near. Lady Eddara Stark is asked by her old friend, Queen Robetta Baratheon, to serve as the Hand of the Queen following the death of the previous incumbent, Eddara's mentor Joan Arryn. Eddara is reluctant but receives intelligence suggesting that Joan was murdered. Eddara accepts Robetta's offer, planning to use her position and authority to investigate the alleged murder. Meanwhile, on the eastern continent of Essos, the exiled children of House Targaryen, which Robetta destroyed to claim the throne, are plotting to return to Westeros and unseat the 'usurper'. To this end, Viserya Targaryen arranges the marriage of her brother Daeron to Khaleesi Draga, the leader of 40,000 Dothraki warriors, in return for the use of her warriors in invading Westeros. For his part, Daeron just wants to find a safe refuge far away from Queen Robetta's assassins and his sister's scheming ambition. Finally, on the northern-most border of the Seven Kingdoms the sworn sisters of the Night's Watch guard the Wall, a 300-mile-long colossal fortification of ice which has stood for thousands of years. The Watch defends the Wall against the depredations of the lawless wildlings who live beyond, but rumor speaks of a new threat arising in the lands of perpetual winter.

S1E1: Bad Since Birth It was a storming and gloomy night (gloomier than usual for Gotham) when a woman crashed on the steps of the GCPD begging and screaming "Please, he'll kill it!". The police surrounded the woman to help her to her feet when they discovered that she was none other than Harley Quinn. She continued to plead and beg, repeating "He'll kill it". Harley Quinn was pregnant and if the Joker ever found out, she and her child would be dead...or worse. With the help of the Justice League and Lex Luthor, Harley Quinn gave birth to her daughter in Mount Justice outside of Happy Harbor, Maine. After orchestrating a false death, the Joker forgot about Harley and his secret daughter April was safe. Trapped inside Mount Justice for her own safety, April knew nothing about the outside world for 17 years. Isolation like that causes trauma and to cope with her trauma, April often sought comfort in the mental apparitions of her father. In a cruel twist of fate, the Joker and his daughter had never been closer.
