Young Injustice: The Final Season
Episode 8: Leverage They in say in space, no one can hear you scream; a Kryptonian, however, can hear the faintest of whispers galaxies away. Mara had heard of the break-in at the Fortress of Solitude and the weapon the Young Justice now had in their hands, a weapon that could take away her powers permanently. Her enemies now had leverage. It was time to level the playing field. Mara and The Order descended to Earth and prepared for war with the Young Justice. More accurately, they prepared for their surrender as they gained the leverage they needed. The Order, being the ruthless heroes that they were, broke into Stryker's Island. With April hacking into a worldwide broadcast, The Order made themselves known to the world as they threatened to execute Leo's mother, Cheetah; Aurora's uncle, Captain Cold; Furor's father, Atrocitus; Calamity's mother, Blacksmith and Fred's mother, Catwoman. Mara's voice didn't show a shred of bluffing, she would burn them all; they were criminals after all. April's love for her girlfriend, for the woman she thought she knew, began to fade as she watched Mara fall further into darkness.

Episode 7: Choice As the Young Justice broke into the Fortress of Solitude in search of Golden Kryptonite, they instead found family photos of the Kent family, including pictures of young Mara visiting her grandparents in Smallville with Fred and Themis. Out of the many, one picture stood out; Fred froze and nearly cried as he saw a picture of Superman handing his daughter a red cape. Fred revealed that he always knew Mara would face the pressure of her father's legacy, especially since it was pushed upon her. Mara never had a choice to be anything but Superman's daughter, it shattered her into the violent woman she became, someone who wanted to break free from the shadows by any means necessary. It's the same reason Themis and Jax had turned towards darkness, they never had the freedom to choose who they wanted to be. Leo, Aurora, Calamity and Furor all asked why Fred had never turned. The young Wayne revealed that he was raised by both the benevolent Batman and the once-criminal Catwoman: because of their dualities, he was raised with the choice to fight for good or fight for himself. He was given the choice to become his own person, not another Robin. Fred believed that the Young Justice program gave the young former-criminals the first choice they ever had and used it to change for the best. As the Young Justice found the shard of Golden Kryptonite they finally began to have hope that they could defeat Mara and hopefully bring April back into the light.

Episode 6: Nightmare The Justice League was defeated and April couldn't be happier. Not even her parents could have defeated Batman. With the help of her love, Mara, it felt as if April had finally had control of her life. She finally didn't feel alone in the universe. As The Order celebrated their victory, April noticed Jax's Yellow Power Ring resting on the table, it's fearful glow beckoning her. She touched it only for a moment and the cosmic energy of pure terror ran through her fragile mind. In a nightmarish vision, April was reunited with her mother, Harley Quinn. The clown princess of crime was disappointed in her daughter; she claimed that April had become the very person she despised. April's vision grew more horrifying as a shattered mirror showed her reflection as her father, The Joker, and the child-killing daughter of Wonder Woman, Themis. April watched her father's wicked smile grow in the mirror until the sensation of pure terror snapped her out of her vision. What had she become? Was April the hero of her own story, or was she simply becoming her own worst enemy? April watched as Mara, Sabueso, Jax and Sekhmet celebrated their victory...and began to doubt her place among them all.

Episode 5: Solitude Word had travelled far across the galaxy: the Justice League had been defeated by The Order. Fred and the Young Justice began to prepare for the worst, they had to assume that Mara and April would come for them next. With Furor, now an Indigo Lantern, and Calamity, now a Bird of Prey, the Young Justice was the world's last hope along with Leo, Aurora and Fred. They struggled to strategize a plan of attack against Mara; how do you defeat someone with no weakness? Then Fred began to remember of something his father had kept secret for years: a weapon capable of permanently removing the powers of Superman himself, golden Kryptonite. Fred believed there was a chance that the shard could possibly render Mara powerless, eliminating the threat of her entirely. Fred used his father's technology to find the secret location of the only shard of golden kryptonite. Being the tactitian he is, Batman put Superman's greatest weakness where he would never expect it...directly under his nose under the icy floors of the Fortress of Solitude.

Episode 4: Justice Served Blood had been spilt; Wonder Woman called for justice to be brought to the murderers of her daughter. On a nearby moon, April Quinzel happily spraypainted her name into the side of it, practically inviting the Justice League to come. The likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Hawkwoman and Martian Manhunter all travelled to capture April Quinzel but quickly realized it was nothing but a trap. The Order had grown powerful enough to defeat the Justice League. Hal Jordan refused to face down his own son as Sabueso easily dealt with the Martian and the Thanagarian. Sekhmet's godly powers were enough to outmatch Wonder Woman's just as April had used her parents decade-long feud to study all of Batman's moves; the Dark Knight had gotten older, sloppier, and weaker. As the Justice League found themselves outmatched, Mara held her father's neck in her hand. She told her father... "You failed". Those two words were more powerful than the reddest of suns; Superman had not only failed to defeat his daughter, but he failed her as a father. With the help of a Phantom Zone projector stolen by April while she was back on Earth, The Order effectively imprisoned the Justice League. No one could stand in their way.

Episode 3: Fear Jackson "Jax" Jordan was always a fearful person: fearful that he wouldn't live up to his family's legacy of both military honour and superhero heritage. He felt even greater shame when a Yellow Power Ring found his finger. He hid the ring for months, terrified of what his parents, Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris, would think of him. His fear only made the beckoning of the ring even stronger. On a quiet night, Jax finally gave into his fear and wore the ring and called out into the reaches of space for the one friend he knew would listen...Mara. With Justice League parents, Mara and Jax had known each other since their childhoods with Fred Wayne and Themis Prince. Mara ensured Jax that a Yellow Power Ring meant more than just the villainous Sinestro Corps, it was an opportunity to use fear for good, for their mission to achieve justice at all costs. Jax felt a sense of pride in his new power; Batman used fear as a tool, why couldn't he? Jax proudly embraced the yellow ring's power. He suddenly wasn't so afraid anymore.

Episode 2: Shazam! The young princess of Kahndaq was quickly becoming a subject of interest to the Justice League. Would she become a benevolent queen like her mother or a ruthless tyrant like her father, Black Adam? The Young Justice united to offer Sekhmet-Adam a place on their team and an opportunity to be a hero. Sekhmet was quick to dismiss Leo Minerva, Aurora Snart and Fred Wayne. She claimed the Justice League was an establishment of the past, soon it would be ruins like the once great pyramids. Sekhmet had heard rumors of The Order, a new league of heroes, one without limits. Fred knew a lost cause when he saw it; he left the princess to make her own choice and he would fight back if need be. As the Young Justice left, a shadow appeared from behind Sekhmet. Having listened to everything, April Quinzel offered the Princess of Kahndaq a place among The Order. With a demigod, a Czarnian, a Kryptonian and the daughter of a maniac on their team, the Order's strength was quickly growing.

Young Injustice: The Final Season
Episode 1: Hijo de Lobo Sabueso had always heard stories of the Man of Steel: a boy from the stars grown to be the hero of the universe. He had also heard tales of his distant father's attempts to defeat the so-called Superman. Lobo's legacy as the Main Man in the galaxy had always overshadowed the 6-year-old Czarnian but now Sabueso had a chance to prove himself: a bounty for a Half-Kryptonian criminal's head. Rumor had it that Superior Girl had no weakness; her human DNA had cured her Kryptonian sickness to the glowing green mineral known as Kryptonite. Sabueso hunted the criminal known as Mara Kent down to a bar in the far reaches of space and prepared to rip her head clean off. Little did he know that she was not alone. The entire planet shook as Sabueso, Mara Kent and her girlfriend, April Quinzel brawled. After nearly killing the son of Lobo, Mara smiled. Maybe it was his bravery, maybe it was his stupidity, whatever it was Mara respected it. April and Mara happily invited Sabueso to join their crusade for lethal justice as The Order. The son of the Main Man gleefully joined.

S2-Finale: One Bad Day April was shattered. She watched Themis slaughter a child...the child she was meant to protect and teach how to live a better life. The already broken April collapsed under the sadness. Nothing could console her sadness...nothing could quell the fiery rage in her heart. As Stryker's Island collapsed, April carried young Rico's body to the High Security wing of the prison and brought the boy's body to his father...Bane. As pure rage filled Bane's blood, he charged at Themis. Themis couldn't take Mara, Bane and April all at once. As the Amazon murderess collapsed in pain with her spine broken by Bane, April stood above her with a brick-shaped choice in her hand...forgive Themis or reap vengeance. Mara smiled as she watched April pummel Themis' face in with a brick until her visage had been crushed into nothing but gore. April had crossed the line she promised she wouldn't...and it felt good. Mara used her girlfriend's moment of weakness and pain to finally get April to see her way...some people do deserve death. With Themis dead, April and Mara flew off to find refuge as the couple wholeheartedly believed that together they could bring lethal justice to the world...The Order was alive, now more than ever. Young Injustice - Season Two
S2-E8: Stryker's Island When April woke up she wasn't on Biot anymore. She found herself locked inside a prison cell on Stryker's Island with several other villains. On the other side of her cell, Themis stared laughing. April heard something sinister in Themis' laughter; she reminded her of her father, the Joker. Themis was cruel and violent but unlike Mara she had no compassion whatsoever to anyone, especially those born from the world's worst villains. If she had it her way, she would have executed everyone of them: April, Leo, Aurora and even their little apprentices. April was furious against Themis who hoped that with Mara back on Earth, she and her would reignite The Order and slaughter anyone in their path. Mara, however, refused. She believed in lethal justice but not with Themis' insanity and cruelty. An Olympian rage burned inside Themis as she turned against her former friend. The two children of the Justice League came to blows rocking the entire prison. As the prison began to collapse, Rico escaped from his cell and tried to help Mara defeat Themis. With a swift blow of her Olympian blade, Themis stabbed 13-year-old Rico Dorrance. As he laid dying and bleeding with his heart shredded by Themis' sword, April sobbed in horror as she watched the boy she had grown to care for die in front of her...while Themis laughed without remorse and cleaned the youthful blood on her blade.

Young Injustice - Season Two
S2-E7: Betrayal Mara and April. Finally reunited. The two shared a loving embrace after being apart for over a year. Despite Mara's betrayal of the Young Justice, April still desperately held onto Mara's love, the only family she had left. Mara brought April and Rico to her hideout from the Manhunters where she made herself at home in the blindspot of the Green Lanterns. Rico was hesitant to befriend Mara; after all, their mission was to apprehend her. Rico could sense a kindness in the murderous Kryptonian. Her form of cruel justice was not without empathy and compassion. Mara showed April what she had been doing with the time she was given. She told April about the Order that Themis and her once believed in, a team with strict ideals of brutal justice. April tried her best to get Mara to see the other way, that execution would not lead to peace. Just as the couple argued, a blast came through Mara's home. Themis immediately knocked out Rico with a brutal punch to the face, she then held April in a headlock, choking the life out of her. Themis warned Mara to stay back or she would rip April's head clean off her body. April struggled to speak, instead she listened to Themis' words. "You'll kill Zod but not her?" she sneered at Mara and laughed, "You got weak." The barely conscious April heard Themis explain her plan to bring the entire team and Mara to prison.

Young Injustice - Season Two
S2-E5: The Order 3 years ago, on the day of Fred Wayne's 18th birthday, the young son of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle celebrated the momentous occasion and his graduation from the Robin mantle. Celebrating with him were his two best friends, Themis and Mara Kent, 2 years before she decided to kill General Zod. As the three childhood friends celebrated, Fred announced his new superhero identity ...Knightshade. As the children of the Justice League began to grow so did their ambitions. Mara spoke about how she hoped to take a greater, more firm stance of justice. She called it, The Order: a new Justice League...one that would make a difference by any force necessary. Even then, her ideals of lethal justice were imprinted in her Kryptonian brain. Themis and Fred were admittedly shocked at Mara's beliefs, they had always seen her as Superman's benevolent daughter. Who could have known she'd become the killer she was today. Since that fateful night, Fred had never talked to Mara or Themis, disappearing into the night. With Fred gone, Mara and Themis remained close and The Order had never died.

Young Injustice - Season Two

It is a dangerous planet, constantly unwatched by the Green Lantern Corps: the perfect place for Mara Kent to hide. With approval from the Justice League, April, Leo and Aurora took it upon themselves to find their former friend. As they prepared to board the Javelin with their mentees, Themis insisted she come along. She revealed that Mara was one of her childhood friends. If anyone could talk Mara down, it was Themis. April knew she was capable of calming Themis herself but she wanted all the help she could get to avoid fighting her girlfriend. As April boarded with Rico, Leo, Calamity, Furor, Aurora and Themis, the group soared through space towards Biot. Young Injustice - Season Two
S2-E3: Found Family Training with their new aprentices was more difficult than anticipated. Leo was a pacifist and getting along with someone as violent and hateful as Furor was difficult for him. Calamity showed no emotion, she was indifferent to everything. Training? Didn't care. No training? Didn't care either. Aurora found it impossible to train with her. April and Rico, however, bonded closely. They both had parents pushing their children to abandon their parents' ways to protect them. Ever since April's parents died and Mara had abandoned her, she had no one left to call family. Rico was a kind kid with a rage he had to learn to control. The latent Venom in his DNA from his father made him a force to be reckoned with. April helped him control his rage and aim it at his enemies rather than let it blaze wildly. As the graduates and their mentees trained, Themis came with news...the Justice League had located Mara Kent.

Young Injustice - Season Two
S2-E2: Demigod Even after a year, April, daughter of the Joker and Harley Quinn, continued to gaze at the stars in the hopes that her girlfriend might be gazing right back at her. Ever since, Mara Kent, the daughter of Superman, turned on the Young Justice and escaped to the darkness of space. As a Kryptonian-Human hybrid, Mara had every power of Superman without the weakness of kryptonite. The only thing that saved the Young Justice was Mara's love for April. A year has passed since then and April still held out hope that she might see the one she loved once more. Since then, she had become a fully-fledged member of the Justice League working with her other Young Justice graduates Leo Minerva, the son of Cheetah, and Aurora Snart, the niece of Captain Cold. Working with them was Themis, the daughter of Wonder Woman, who was as benevolent and as tough as her mother. Themis didn't trust those who were villain-born but she seemed to be warming up to her new teammates. As April stared into space, the Justice League called upon the Young Justice graduates. They were told of an opportunity: as graduates they would mentor the newest members of the program. Leo, Aurora and April were introduced to each new member: Furor, the bitter and rageful son of Atrocitus, Calamity Jesse, the punk daughter of the Trickster, and Rico Dorrance the young son of Bane.

Young Injustice - Season Two

Standing behind a glass window pane in Stryker's Island was his father, Bane. The man who broke the bat stared, disappointed at his son. Having grown up in prison since birth, Bane knew that no son of his would live the same fate that turned him into the villain he was. Bane ordered his son to learn how to tame his rage into a better future. Bane told Rico of a program led by Lex Luthor and the Justice League to rehabilitate the children of supervillains into heroes of tomorrow. Young Rico juggled the idea in his head but Bane's words were as powerful as his strength. Rico Dorrance, the son of Bane was joining the Young Justice program.

It was only until April stood in front of her girlfriend's heating laser vision that Mara froze. Could she really kill April? As Mara's tears quickly disintegrated in the heat of her eyes, she flew into the cold vastness of space. Weeks went by and every night, April looked up into the stars hoping Mara was safe and doing well. The four headed out against the Joker and his gang with the help of an armoured Lex Luthor and Harleen Quinzel, more sane than ever but still just as deadly. The war of Happy Harbor was a brutal one but it came to a shocking climax as the Joker was finally reunited with his puddin. With a smile on his face and without hesitation, the Joker shot Harley in the head for her betrayal over 17 years ago. In a mad fury, April rushed to her mother and held her as she died in her arms. Harleen's last words to her daughter were "don't let anyone tell you who you are". April stood up with a fiery rage in her veins, finally she would confront her father.
