Static Shock (2000)
Virgil Hawkins, an African American high-school student, gets caught up in the crossfire of a gang initiation where experimental tear gas is released. This gas, known as Quantum Juice, triggers an event called the "Big Bang" which grants Virgil the ability to manipulate and generate electricity, becoming the superhero Static. Now, he will have to come face to face with the gang that inadvertently gave him his powers, who now have superpowers of their own.

Green Arrow II: Out of Time (2000)
In Starling City, a new supervillain simply known as the Clock King is out for revenge against the ones whom he feels are responsible for his terminally ill sister's death, one of those being the vigilante Green Arrow. Now, the Emerald Archer will have to step back into action in order to face this vengeful menace, while also finding an unlikely ally in the youthful teenage Speedy.

Jonah Hex TV Series (2000-2004)
Set just after the American Civil War, a gruesomely scarred man named Jonah Hex, works as a brutal and morally complex bounty hunter who takes on isolated missions to track down outlaws, killers and gangs for cash with his code of honor to protect the innocent, while also frequently coming face to face with the ruthless, brilliant, and vengeful Quentin Turnbull, who is out for revenge for the death of his son Jeb.

Plastic Man (2000)
Patrick "Eel" O'Brien is a petty criminal who, after being exposed to rare chemicals that transform his body, gains the ability to morph and stretch his molecular structure. After gaining these new powers, he decides to turn over a new leaf and fight crime as the ever-expandable Plastic Man, while also tracking down the criminal gang responsible for his accident.

The Flash IV: Enter the Speedforce (1999)
Gorilla Grodd has returned, now more powerful and dangerous than before, and along with Killer Frost, he now seeks revenge the Flash for beating him the first time around. Now, the Flash, alongside his nephew Wally West and a new recruit in the form of his future grandson Bart Allen AKA Impulse and the original Flash - Jay Garrick - must fight head-to-head with these dangerous foes.

Watchmen (1999)
Set in an alternate 1985 America, costumed superheroes are part of everyday life. When one of his former comrades is murdered, a masked vigilante named Rorschach uncovers a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his retired associates, only one of which has true powers, all of them are exposed to a much darker plot involving their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the world's future.

Superman IV: Meta Mayhem (1999)
Because Superman's presence on Earth is now seen by some as a threat after the events of Superman III, the government enlists both Lex Luthor & Amanda Waller as the heads of Project Cadmus: a secret organization that specializes in bio-engineering Meta Humans. So now, both Superman & Supergirl must do battle with some of Project Cadmus' deadliest creations such as Livewire, Parasite and a deformed clone of Superman known as Bizzaro.

The Batman V: Resurrection (1999)
As Batman continues to fight crime for almost a decade alongside Robin and the newly recruited Batgirl, a new group of foes known as the League of Shadows has arrived in Gotham, killing off corrupt political figures, led by the immortal but mad Ra's Al Ghul and his daughter Talia who has a romantic past with Bruce as well as the muscle powered mercenary known as Bane, with their hopes being to bring Gotham to ashes. So now, because of all this, Batman, alongside Robin and Batgirl, must seek help from both the crafty Catwoman and also an orphaned yet skilled youth in Tim Drake in order to take down what may be Batman's greatest challenge yet.

Shazam! Champion of the Gods (1998)
Troubled foster youth Billy Batson is chosen by an ancient wizard to become his new champion by saying the name "Shazam", allowing him to transform into an adult superhero with various superpowers. Now, Billy and his foster siblings, particularly Freddy Freeman, must use Billy's newfound powers in order to defeat the almighty supervillain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana and Mister Mind.

The Doom Patrol TV Series (1998-2003)
A group of outcast superheroes - Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane - led by the mysterious Dr. Niles Caulder, also known as “The Chief”, all find their purpose as a dysfunctional support group and superhero team, investigating bizarre phenomena while dealing with their own traumas and disfigurements from accidents that gave them their powers, often stepping up to save the world from existential crises, including protecting Caulder’s reality-bending daughter Dorothy Spinner.

Aquaman II: Risen from the Deep (1998)
Since the events of Justice League, Arthur Curry continues his duties as King of Atlantis alongside his Queen Mera who is pregnant with his son. However, things soon change when an ancient King of Atlantis known as Atlan is brought back to life, seeking his trident and throne from Arthur. Now, Aquaman alongside Mera & his protege Garth, later known as Aqualad, must protect Atlantis from The Dead King and his army of sea monsters.

Wonder Woman III: A New Age (1998)
In honor of her heroic feats, Wonder Woman has now become the ambassador for Themyscira in the United Nations as well as a global icon & celebrity, much to the fury of the envious CEO Veronica Cale, who deeply despises Wonder Woman. To combat this, she has mad scientist Doctor Psycho turn one of Diana's closest allies into a cybernetic assassin known as the Silver Swan, with Psycho's henchwoman Giganta joining as well. Meanwhile, Diana learns of another Amazonian with her unique attributes in the form of teenager Donna Troy, who she trains to use her Amazonian powers for good and helping her become Wonder Girl. Now, both heroines will have to work together to combat these four villainous forces and stop them from achieving their goals.

The Batman IV: Heart of Ice (1997)
It's Christmas in Gotham, and a deadly ice-powered supervillain by the name of Mr. Freeze is out for revenge against Goth-Corp CEO Ferris Boyle with former botanist turned superpowered eco-terrorist Poison Ivy joining him in his quest for revenge. Now because of this, both Batman & Robin must both try to put a stop to their vengeful reign of terror, along with some help from the mysterious Batgirl.

The Flash III: Rogues Revenge (1997)
Since the events of Justice League, the Flash, now a world-famous superhero, has managed to round up and aid in the incarceration of almost all the criminals residing in Central City. However, a large group, led by criminal mastermind Captain Cold, have managed to escape and are seeking revenge as the villainous league known as the Rogues. So now, Barry Allen, aided by fellow speedsters Jay Garrick and Barry's future teenage nephew Wally West, will all have to team up in order to take this vengeful supervillain group head on.

Constantine: Hellblazer (1997)
John Constantine, a cynical, chain-smoking, working-class English magician and con man, has devoted his life to hunting down demons and other dark forces, often getting entangled in supernatural conspiracies and personal damnation while trying to save himself or others, using his street smarts and cunning as much as his arcane knowledge. One day, while helping Mary “Zed” Martin investigate a mysterious murder for which she was blamed, Constantine becomes caught up in a supernatural plot headed by the “half-breed” archangel Gabriel, who seeks to release all of Hell onto Earth out of a disdain for humanity. Now, Constantine must do all that it takes to save the human realm from complete and utter darkness.

Green Arrow: Legend of the Emerald Archer (1997)
Oliver Queen, a multi-millionaire playboy, is shipwrecked for 5 years on Lian Yu, a mysterious island in the North China Sea where he is taught the skill of archery to fight evil. After finally returning home to Starling City, he becomes the vigilante known as "Green Arrow" in order to put an end to the crime and corruption of his fair city, and to save it from a sinister threat.

Green Lantern Corps II: Warworld (1996)
Hal Jordan, John Stewart & Guy Gardner are called upon once more by the Green Lantern Corps, this time to do battle with Mongul, a powerful ruthless intergalactic warlord who seeks to take over the universe in the name of his master, Darkseid. Meanwhile, Hector Hammond, seeking revenge for his humiliating defeat in the last film, teams up with Mongul to wreak havoc on the Green Lanterns and to destroy them once and for all. Now, it’s up to Hal, John and Guy to stop them.

The Sandman (1996)
The Sandman, or Dream, is one of the Endless, powerful beings who are older than gods and exist throughout creation as conceptual ideas given physical form who was imprisoned by a mortal wizard for over a century. Knowing this, the evil John Dee, also known as Doctor Destiny, seeks to take Dream’s powers for his own so he may become a god-like figure through trapping thousands of people in their worst nightmares. Soon, Dream escapes and, alongside his faithful sister Death embarks on an epic quest to reclaim his powerful artifacts - a ruby, a helm and a bag of sand - to restore his weakened kingdom, The Dreaming, and stop John Dee from achieving his goals while doing battle with many foes, including the terrifying Corithian.

Superman III: The Reign of Brainiac (1996)
As Clark Kent, or more well known as Superman, alongside his cousin Supergirl, continues his duties as protector of Metropolis and the world, while working as a journalist for the Daily Planet, a new threat ascends from the sky in the form of the sadistic supercomputer system B.R.A.I.N.I.A.C, which is revealed to be the cause of Krypton's destruction and now seeks to wipe out all species in the universe in order to take it for his own. Alongside him is an infamous foul-mouthed bounty hunter named Lobo, who has a personal history with Supergirl. Now, both Superman and Supergirl must stop these two and save both Earth and the entire universe before it’s too late.

V for Vendetta (1995)
Set in a dystopian and post-apocalyptic future, the United Kingdom is a police state run by the oppressive and fascist Norsefire government. Soon, a mysterious, masked vigilante simply known as the letter "V" uses terrorist tactics to fight back against the oppressors of the world he now lives in. After saving the life of a young woman named Evey Hammond from the secret police, he discovers an ally in his fight against England's iron rulers, all the while a New Scotland Yard detective Eric Finch, who's trying to catch V, becomes an unlikely player in the end to England's oppression.
