Tyler BatesΒ (born June 5, 1965) is an American musician, music producer, and composer of film, television, and video game scores.Β Much of his work is in theΒ actionΒ andΒ horror filmΒ genres, with films likeΒ Dawn of the Dead,Β 300,Β Sucker Punch,Β HalloweenΒ andΒ Halloween IIΒ and theΒ John WickΒ franchise. He has collaborated with directors likeΒ Zack Snyder,Β Rob Zombie,Β Gennady Tartakovsky,Β Neil Marshall,Β William Friedkin,Β Scott Derrickson,Β James Gunn,Β Chad StahelskiΒ andΒ David Leitch. In addition, he is the lead guitarist of the AmericanΒ rockΒ bandΒ Marilyn Manson and produced his albumsΒ The Pale Emperor,Β Heaven Upside DownΒ andΒ Β One Assassination Under God β Chapter 1.
