Biography

Ty (full name: Tyrone[4]) is the main titular protagonist of the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series. He has appeared in each of the series' games. Ty starts out as an orphan in Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. However he ends up very well-known and is very popular by the end of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3. In real life, Ty's species, the thylacine (Thylacinus cynocephalus), also known as the Tasmanian tiger, Tasmanian wolf, or Tasmanian hyena, is a meat-eating marsupial now believed to be extinct, despite some current sightings. He was portrayed by Stig Wemyss in the first game, and by Greg Ellis in the second and third.
