Michelle Sanchez aka Swift is the deuteragonist of the Thunderstorm series created by Sote Tariah. Michelle along with her brother Miguel and their best friend Tommy Fry operate as a sort of superhero trio after a freak accident gave superpowers. Tommy goes by the codename Thunderstorm and got weather manipulation powers. Meanhile, Michelle received super speed and goes under the code name Swift and Miguel received fire powers and goes by the code name Burn Notice. She’s the human embodiment of a sugar rush — bubbly, silly, and full of life. But don’t let the giggles fool you: when it’s time to fight, she’s a blur of brilliance and bravery. Her heart beats faster than her feet, driven by compassion and a fierce sense of justice. For her, doing the right thing isn’t a philosophical debate — it’s a gut instinct. She doesn’t waste time weighing pros and cons when someone’s in trouble. She acts. She feels. She cares. And while plenty of boys might trip over themselves trying to impress her, she’s got her eyes on one— Thunderstorm, the hero of the story who according to Michelle is as kind as he is cute. His virtues speak louder than any pickup line, and she’s listening.
