Biography

Katie Williams, also known as Spin Sister is a character in Barbie: It Takes Two. She is a talented artist and she is part of an underground network that trades rare music. Spin Sister uses broken vinyl records to make public art installations. She once made a pop-art piece using pop hit records from the 90s. In "For the Record", Malibu and Brooklyn break Kel's original copy of the record Life in B-Flat. They ask Lyla for help. Spin Sister wants the broken record so she can use it for her art. They make a deal to trade the broken record to Spin Sister for free, but when they meet, Spin Sister also wants $50. Lyla says if Spin Sister doesn't make a clean trade, she'll tell on her to Big Base. Spin Sister immediately hands makes the trade for free.
