Biography

First appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #272 in 1985 and was created by Tom DeFalco, Ron Frenz, and Sal Buscema. Jalome Beacher was a chemical engineer for Beemont Manufacturing who created a chemical coating that eliminated all friction between any object it was applied to. Beemont Manufacturing was bought and closed by a man named Rockwall, leaving him unemployed. He subsequently used his chemical coating to become Slyde.
