Steven Harmon was a mischievous New Jersey high‑schooler who planned to prank his rival Winston at a strange carnival. Disguised as a clown, he followed Winston and his date after they were kidnapped by extradimensional clowns.
Inside the funhouse, Steven chased them through a portal disguised as a mirror, stretching his molecules across 3,741 dimensions and transforming him into a being made of unstable electroplasm — essentially a living cartoon.
He landed in the realm of the Scientist Supreme of Dimension X, a Groucho‑Marx‑like figure who taught him to control his new form and fight the clowns’ invasion. Steven rescued the captives, returned to Earth, and adopted the name Slapstick. 🔧 Powers & Abilities
Slapstick’s physiology is pure cartoon physics:
Electroplasm Body: Indestructible, malleable, stretchable, squash‑and‑stretch cartoon matter
Superhuman Agility & Reflexes: Moves with exaggerated toon speed and flexibility
Unlimited Malleability: Can flatten, inflate, stretch, fold, and reshape himself
Minimal Reality Manipulation: Warps physics around him like a Looney Tunes character
Enhanced Strength When Electrocuted: Electricity amps his physical power
Hyperspace Storage: His gloves contain “molecular stabilitroids,” letting him pull weapons (like his giant mallet) from hyperspace
Transformation Device: Can switch between human and toon form via a glove mechanism 🛡️ Teams & Major Storylines
