Sergey Rost

Born on March 3, 1965, in Leningrad, Sergey Rost (born Sergey Anatolyevich Titivin) is a prominent Russian actor, screenwriter, and television director who first achieved nationwide fame in the mid-1990s for his transformative collaboration with Dmitry Nagiyev. A graduate of the Leningrad Theatre Institute as a director, he was the creative architect behind the cult sketch show Look Out! Modern!, where he not only portrayed a diverse gallery of male and female characters but also co-wrote over 300 scripts. Following a high-profile professional split from Nagiyev in 2004, Rost successfully pivoted to dramatic acting and screenwriting, appearing in projects like the war film Purgatory (1997), the comedy series Londongrad (2015), and the biographical drama Vertinskiy (2021). As of late 2025, he remains a staple of the Russian entertainment industry, starring in the comedy series Zovite Vityu! and continuing his work as a theatrical director and prolific screenwriter for major streaming platforms.
