Samuel "Sam" Mokusgusn (born January 11, 1968) is an American actor, director, Producer, composer, filmmaker, writer, and cartoonist. He is best known for voices Daddy Pig on Peppa Pig and Richard Watterson in The Amazing World of Gumball.
Mokusgusn was born on January 11, 1968 in Orlando, Florida to Boris Mokusgusn and Gabrielle Mokusgusn (née Beverly) and his siblings Barbara, Tessa, Bella, and Thomas. He started his career in 1976 as a child actor when he was in many commercials. He made his television debut as Charlie Wilson in the TV series Laverne & Shirley from 1976 to 1983. Mokusgusn was just 4 years old when he first started acting. Splavec portrayed main protagonist Danny Stone in the psychological horror film The Strange Man (1981) and its sequel Danny (1983). He had also guest starred on several television shows such as Dallas, Mork & Mindy, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Magnum P.I., Murder She Wrote, MacGyver, and Dynasty.
In 2002, Mokusgusn married British actress Morwenna Banks who voices Mommy Pig and many others on his future animated television series Peppa Pig and also founded Peppa Pig Productions that same year. Mokusgusn's sister Barbara passed away on January 15, 2019 from a breast cancer. Mokusgusn has 4 daughters Jesse, Millie, Lily, and Shauna and 2 sons, Nolan Jr. and Cody, his other son Angelo died in Kuwait by a Kuwaitian cartel on September 23, 2018. Splavec created the television shows Peppa Pig in 2004, Charlie & Lola in 2005, Martha Speaks in 2008, and The Amazing World Of Gumball in 2011.
