Rod Biermann

Rod Biermann is an American actor best known for his roles in the films The Last of the Mohicans (1992), The Shawshank Redemption (1994), and The Green Mile (1999). He has also appeared in television series such as The X-Files, ER, and Law & Order. Biermann was born on December 3, 1969 in Sterling, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he studied theater and film. Biermann began his acting career in the early 1990s, appearing in small roles in films such as The Last of the Mohicans and The Shawshank Redemption. He went on to appear in a number of television series, including The X-Files, ER, and Law & Order. In 1999, Biermann starred in the critically acclaimed film The Green Mile, alongside Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan. He has since appeared in a number of other films, including The Majestic (2001), The Guardian (2006), and The Lucky Ones (2008). Biermann is currently married to actress and producer Jennifer Biermann. The couple have two children.
