Paul Stephen RuddΒ (born April 6, 1969) is an American actor. Rudd studied theatre at theΒ University of KansasΒ and theΒ American Academy of Dramatic ArtsΒ before making his acting debut in 1991. He was included on theΒ ForbesΒ Celebrity 100Β list in 2019 and was namedΒ People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" in 2021. The accolades he has received include aΒ Critics' Choice Television Award, as well as nominations for aΒ Golden Globe Award, twoΒ Primetime Emmy Awards, and twoΒ Screen Actors Guild Awards.
