Lukas Gageย (born May 28, 1995) is an American actor. He appeared in the television seriesย American Vandalย (2017),ย Euphoriaย (2019),ย The White Lotusย (2021),ย Youย (2023), andย Fargo (2023), as well as the horror filmsย Smile 2ย (2024) and Companion (2025).
Gage was born on May 28, 1995, inย San Diego, Californiaย and raised inย Encinitas, California.ย He went to film camp every summerย and acted in plays and commercials.ย He attendedย San Dieguito Academyย in Encinitas.
In November 2020, Gage posted a clip of an audition onย Zoom,ย during which directorย Tristram Shapeeroย could be heard criticizing Gage's apartment, unaware that his microphone was not muted. Gage received messages of support from others in the film industry. Although he did not get the job, the rejection allowed him to accept a part in theย HBOย miniseriesย The White Lotus.
Gage is gay.ย Hairstylist Chris Appleton confirmed his relationship with Gage onย The Drew Barrymore Showย in March 2023,ย and early the following month, the pair became engaged. Nineteen days later, Appleton and Gage were married.ย On November 13, 2023, Appleton filed for divorce from Gage, citing irreconcilable differences.
