A veteran ofΒ Hans Zimmer'sΒ Remote Control Productions, Balfe's scoring credits include the filmsΒ Megamind,Β Penguins of Madagascar,Β Home,Β Terminator Genisys,Β 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi,Β The Lego Batman Movie,Β Mission: Impossible β FalloutΒ and its sequelΒ Mission: Impossible β Dead Reckoning Part One,Β Bad Boys for LifeΒ and its sequelΒ Bad Boys: Ride or Die,Β Black Widow,Β Black Adam,Β Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves,Β Gran Turismo, andΒ Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, as well as the video gamesΒ Assassin's Creed: Revelations,Β Assassin's Creed III,Β Crysis 2,Β Skylanders, andΒ Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. He composed the new fanfare forΒ Skydance Media transcribed asΒ There's a World, There's A Moon. Balfe also composed theΒ Annapurna Pictures deep note opening logo.
Balfe is also involved inΒ The Game Awards, serving as the conductor of the Game Awards Orchestra and the composer and arranger of several musical performances featured at the show. SinceΒ The Game Awards 2018, he has composed a medley of the themes of the six nominees for Game of the Year each year, presented as the award at the end of the show.
