Biography

ChaserKamen Rider Amazons (仮面ライダーアマゾンズ, Kamen Raidā Amazonzu) is a Japanese tokusatsu web-drama serving as a reboot of Kamen Rider Amazon as well as to commemorate the franchise's Super Hero YearIcon-crosswiki (スーパーヒーローイヤー, Sūpā Hīrō Iyā) project. All 13-episodes of the first season released on Amazon Prime Video on April 1, 2016, with an edited broadcast premiering weekly on BS Asahi and Tokyo MX that July. All 13-episodes of the second season released on Prime on April 7, 2017, which was then followed by an epilogue film Kamen Rider Amazons: The Last Judgement, which premiered in Japan on May 19, 2018 with no international release confirmed as of yet. The show was also distributed internationally as Amazon Riders, with the first and second seasons being released on April 19, 2018 and September 21, 2018 respectively on each country's respective Prime libraries. Both seasons were removed from the American catalog on April 6, 2023, most likely due to an expired contract between Toei and Amazon with no word on any potential renewal of the license. The catchphrase for season 1 is "Open Your Amazons", while it was changed to "Hunt, start" (狩り、開始, Kari, kaishi) for its television broadcast. For season 2, the catchphrase is "Who are you?" (おまえは谁だ？, Omae wa dare da?).
