Grandpa Joe
Grandpa Joe is a fictional character and the tritagonist of the children's novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and its 1971 and 2005 film adaptations. He is Charlie's paternal grandfather who accompanies his grandson to tour Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
Grandpa Joe is stated to be in his 90s and the oldest out of Charlie's grandparents, being described as being bony, resembling a skeleton. He is often excitable, paranoid, stubborn and anxious that Charlie wins the contest and takes his relationship with his grandson very seriously.read more
