Godzilla: Monsters & Protectors is a middle-grade Godzilla comic miniseries published by IDW Comics beginning in April 2021. The company's first new Godzilla comic since Godzilla: Rage Across Time in 2016, it is a five-issue collaboration between Erik Burnham, Dan Schoening and Luis Antonio Delgado. Godzilla roars back into comics with a giant-sized first issue! Extra story and extra content mark the King of Monsters’ triumphant return! “Rise Up!” Part 1: When a coldly single-minded businessman uses an untested element to create clean energy for a profit, he inadvertently awakens the beast from the deep—Godzilla!
