Biography

Deepti Jal Singh is an Indian-South African actress, model and advocate. She was born on February 26th, 1999 in South Africa and is of Punjabi descent. Singh began her career appearing as the first Indian Face for Nescafé - South Africa (2016) and later gaining prominence for her role as Seema in the Netflix Tv series, The Indian Detective (2017). She attended Montessori pre-school and private schools prior to being home-schooled from 2009 through various institutions until her graduation. She studied via the University of Cambridge (CIE) - as well as an American Institute shortly after completing her Cambridge education. Singh attended a private college where she studied Business and Law and advocates on a variety of rights, namely, mental health, Environmental issues, Human rights, Women's rights and Animal rights.
