Colin StetsonΒ (born March 3, 1975)Β is an AmericanΒ saxophonist,Β multireedist, and composer based in Montreal.Β He is best known as a regular collaborator of theΒ indie rock actsΒ Arcade Fire,Β Bon Iver,Β Bell Orchestre, and Ex Eye. In addition toΒ saxophone, he playsΒ clarinet,Β bass clarinet,Β French horn,Β flute, andΒ cornet.
Stetson has released various solo releases, including his debut and subsequent albumsΒ New History Warfare Vol. 1, 2, & 3,Β a collaborative studio album with violinistΒ Sarah NeufeldΒ entitledΒ Never Were the Way She WasΒ (2015),Β Sorrow: A Reimagining of HenrykΒ GΓ³recki's 3rd Symphony(2016), andΒ All This I Do for GloryΒ (2017). Since 2013, Stetson has contributed the scores to several films and television series.
