Actress Claire Emeline Statczar was born in Portland, Maine to Kelly LaRou Statczar and Troy Matthew Statczar. She is of Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Irish, and Scottish descent. Growing up Statczar moved 9 times due to her father's career, giving her the tools to adapt quickly when placed in a fresh environment. Claire is a middle child with an older sister in the US Army and a younger brother that plays hockey.
Blessed from a young age with an artistic mind and vivid imagination, Claire was instantly drawn to poetry and music. As a toddler she dabbled in modeling, but was far more captivated by singing, dancing, and painting. At just 9 years old she won her first art competition. After learning to sing, dance, paint, draw, and play a variety of instruments and sports, she discovered her passion for acting during her first class at age 10 while at Military Camp.
Her adoration for the arts continued to blossom as time went on. She continued to take acting classes whenever possible, making a four hour trip between Chicago, IL and Culver, IN where she attended boarding school. She began working on numerous short films and student films in 2019 and eventually withdrew from the school she was attending after signing with her agent. Her career is driven by a pure love of the arts and she dedicates her time towards mastering her craft.
