Jean-Christophe Beckย (born 1968) is a Canadian television and film score composer. He is best known for his collaborations withย Disneyย and its subsidiaries, which include composing the soundtracks ofย The Muppetsย (2011) andย Muppets Most Wantedย (2014),ย Frozenย (2013) andย Frozen 2 (2019), theย Marvel Cinematic Universeย filmsย Ant-Manย (2015),ย Ant-Man and the Waspย (2018), andย Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniaย (2023) as well as theย TV miniseriesย WandaVisionย (2021),ย Hawkeyeย (2021), andย Agatha All Alongย (2024) forย Marvel Studios, andย Free Guyย (2021) forย 20th Century Studios, as well asย Disney's 100th anniversary logo.ย
He composed the scores for several ofย Shawn Levy's films, includingย Big Fat Liarย (2002),ย Just Marriedย (2003),ย Cheaper by the Dozenย (2003),ย The Pink Pantherย (2006),ย The Internshipย (2013), andย Free Guyย (2021). Notably, he won anย Emmy Award in 1998 for his work on the television seriesย Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He is also known for composing the scores of the film seriesย The Hangoverย (2009-2013). He is the older brother of composer, pianist and rapperย Chilly Gonzales.
