Biography

Cheri Charity is a supporting character in Barbie: Skipper and the Big Babysitting Adventure. Cheri loves dogs and she becomes friends with Skipper, Anna and Joy. The four of them have summer jobs at a water park named Oceans Extreme. After Skipper, Anna and Joy get hired at Oceans Extreme, they see Cheri outside the park. Cheri has a robot dalmatian with her. Cheri sees a passer-by and says she is an expert dog walker for hire, but the passer-by ignores her. Cheri looks sad. Skipper approaches Cheri's dalmatian and notices it isn't real. Cheri replies that her dog-walking business isn't doing well, so she really needs a job. Anna suggests that Cheri work at the doggy day care in Oceans Extreme. Cheri loves the idea and begins working there the next day. Her boss is Tammy, the daughter of the park owner Milton. Cheri enjoys her new job. Skipper and Joy visit Cheri at the doggy day care and Skipper notices some kids not meeting height requirements for rides. Cheri explains that the little kids have to wait at the height measuring pole while their parents and the bigger kids go on rides. Skipper finds it unfair. Later, Cheri watches on happily as Milton makes Skipper employee of the week. Skipper suggests that the park have a day care for the little kids. Skipper privately tells Tammy they can use a gaming bus as the day care. Tammy steals the idea and makes Skipper clean a dirty pool. Skipper quits the job and sees that Cheri, Anna and Joy were coming to help her clean the pool. Cheri and her friends get on the gaming bus before Tammy has paid for it. Cheri closes the bus door because she is cold. Cheri watches Joy sing karaoke. The bus jolts, causing Cheri and her friends to realize the bus is moving. The driver, Pete, got tired of waiting for Tammy to pay him and drove away, not knowing Cheri and the other kids were on the bus. Skipper makes a plan to distract the kids until they can ask the driver to bring them back to the park. Skipper refers to herself, Cheri, Anna and Joy as "Skipper's Super Sitter Squad" and they cheer. Pete drives the bus to a parking lot, gets into a car and drives away. Cheri and her friends yell at him to stop, but he doesn't hear them. Skipper phones Tammy, and Tammy says she will send her limo. Cheri says they can't wait out in the sun with no shade or water. Suddenly, a kid named Erica goes missing. Cheri helps search for Erica until Skipper finds her. A sandstorm begins, so Skipper tells everyone to hold hands. Cheri holds a kid's hand and Skipper says they will find an adult and ask for help. After the sandstorm ends, the kids see an auto-piloted party plane and run towards it. Cheri and her friends fall down as they chase the kids. A flight attendant lets the kids on the plane because she assumes the kids are voluntary testers for the first flight. Cheri and her friends board the plane to get the kids, but Erica presses a button. It sends a signal for the plane to take off. Cheri tries to get the door open but it is locked. When the plane lands, Cheri helps Joy, who felt airsick. Cheri and her friends get in the limo with the kids, but the limo gets stuck in traffic by the beach. Tammy urgently needs to get the kids back to the park before their parents pick them up, so she sends a boat. On the boat, Cheri tells Skipper she could get back at Tammy by returning late. Skipper feels that wouldn't be right and that, as a babysitter, her priority should be getting the kids back to their parents safely. It is too foggy for the boat captain to get back to the park, so Skipper asks some dolphins for help. Cheri is surprised that Skipper speaks dolphin. The dolphins guide Cheri, her friends and the kids back to a pier near the park. Cheri and her friends run back to the park and get back in time for the kids to be picked up by their parents. Milton doesn't want to open a gaming bus day care because it will cost money. Tammy convinces Milton to let her open a day care, so Cheri and her friends cheer. Milton says it can't be a gaming bus, so Cheri and her friends are disappointed. Skipper and Tammy suggest that everyone work together to clean the dirty pool and then turn it into a day care. Milton agrees. Cheri and her friends have a group hug with Tammy. Tammy ends the hug and says they should have boundaries. After the day care is open and successful, Cheri dances while Joy sings for everyone.
