Barry Gray

Barry Gray (born John Eccles, 18 July 1908 – 26 April 1984) was a British musician and composer best known for his collaborations for Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's Supermarionation puppet shows in the 1960s. His most famous composition is the well loved and well known Thunderbirds theme, which he recorded in a military marching band style. He also composed all the music for the two movies, Thunderbirds Are Go and Thunderbird 6.
As well as Thunderbirds, he also composed music for Four Feather Falls, Fireball XL5, Supercar, Stingray, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, Joe 90 and The Secret Service. He later went on to record Space: 1999's f...read more
