In October 2016, Youkyung left AOA after her contract expired and on June 22, 2017, Choa left AOA due to health issues. On May 13, 2019, it was announced that Mina left AOA after deciding not to renew her contract with FNC Entertainment and on July 4, 2020, it was announced Jimin left AOA and the entertainment industry.
