He has receivedΒ numerous accolades, including twoΒ Academy Awards, threeΒ BAFTA Awards, twoΒ Golden Globe Awards, and twoΒ Grammy Awards. Desplat was made an Officer of theΒ Ordre national du MΓ©riteΒ and a Commander of theΒ Ordre des Arts et des LettresΒ both in 2016.
