Alexander Draper Wolffย (born November 1, 1997),ย known by his nickname and professionally asย Alex Wolff, is an American actor, musician, and singer-songwriter. He first gained recognition for starring alongside his older brother,ย Nat, in the Nickelodeon musical comedy seriesย The Naked Brothers Bandย (2007โ2009), created by his mother,ย Polly Draper. Wolff's father,ย Michael Wolff, co-produced the series' soundtrack albumsย The Naked Brothers Bandย (2007) andย I Don't Want to Go to School (2008), which placed on theย Billboard 200ย charts.
After the Nickelodeon series ended, Wolff and his brother formed a music duo calledย Nat & Alex Wolff. They released the albumsย Black Sheep (2011),ย Public Placesย (2016) andย Table for Two(2023). He focused his career on film roles, portrayingย Dzhokhar Tsarnaevย inย Patriots Day (2016) andย John "Derf" Backderfย inย My Friend Dahmerย (2017). Wolff made his directorial debut with the drama filmย The Cat and the Moon (2019). His other acting roles includeย My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2ย (2016),ย Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungleย (2017),ย Hereditaryย (2018),ย Pigย (2021),ย Oldย (2021), andย A Quiet Place: Day Oneย (2024).
