Synopsis

In our timeline, the Soviet Union collapsed under its own weight in 1989 bringing an end to the Cold War. In this timeline, it didn't. Instead, in an alternate 1989, in a last-ditch effort to save itself, the Soviet Union thunders over the Fulda Gap sparking World War 3. After making rapid gains in Western Europe, the Soviets falter after a concentrated push by NATO forces grinds the war down to a stalemate. Desperate to regain the initiative, the Soviets invade the Western Seaboard of the United States taking Seattle and the surrounding countryside. Enter First Lieutenant Parker: a soldier coming back from the intense fighting in Europe. Joined by CPT Mark Bannon, a foolhardy tank commander, the cool and unflappable CPT James Webb and kept under the wing of COL Jeremiah Sawyer. They must fight to break the Soviet hold on Seattle before the war escalates to the unthinkable...
