Instead, in an alternate 1989, in a last-ditch effort to save itself, the Soviet Union thunders over the Fulda Gap sparking World War 3. After making rapid gains in Western Europe, the Soviets falter after a concentrated push by NATO forces grinds the war down to a stalemate. Desperate to regain the initiative, the Soviets invade the Western Seaboard of the United States taking Seattle and the surrounding countryside. Enter First Lieutenant Parker: a soldier coming back from the intense fighting in Europe. Joined by CPT Mark Bannon, a foolhardy tank commander, the cool and unflappable CPT James Webb and kept under the wing of COL Jeremiah Sawyer.
