  • jakubduda This movie consists of 4 seemingly unrelated stories and a finale. James is on the verge of collapse due to financial problems. Before his wedding anniversary, he decides to end his life, but his plan is thwarted by an old man named Matthew, who asks to stay the night for dinner and in return will give him a generous amount of money before he leaves for Grand Central Terminal tomorrow. Matthew helps James find his lost faith and hope when it is revealed the effect his life has on others around him and that be not able to take wife to a fancy restaurant for their anniversary is not the end of the world and a reason to commit suicide. Matthew leaves before they wake up and left there huge amount of money. Second Story: Tom, an ex-soldier suffering from the effects of war trauma, returns to town hoping for a new start. Here he meets Emilia, his old love, who now runs the local orphanage. Meanwhile, Mark, a boy from a nearby town, gets lost and accidentally enters their lives. Tom decides to help Mark find his way back home, leading him to an unexpected understanding and healing of his own war wounds and love for Emily. In the process, Mark tells him about the GCT and Tom takes him there and buys him a postcard. In the morning, the boy is no longer in his room, but he left the postcard at the bed. Story 3: Jack is a successful businessman who spends most of his time working and feels lonely. His secretary Shirley, who longs for Jack's love, devises a plan to make him fell in love with her. However, during one bright night, their plans go awry when they meet Luke, a young man who is looking for a way to happiness. He gets hired and accidentally discovers the love letters that Shirley writes to Jack but never sends. Luke puts them together. The next day he does not come to work but leaves a letter in the office saying that he has to leave forever and that he is now on his way to GCT. 4th story: In the city, three people meet: Rick, who has returned for forgiveness, young John, who is looking for his passion for painting, and Ilsa, who is searching for a lost love. John helps Rick confront Lisa, whom he once hurt and still loves. John discovers that what he is looking for for his painting is GCT. Their meeting brings understanding and fulfillment of hope. John is always deciding how to paint GCT. The next day, John disappears. END: James, Tom, Jack and Rick all run on GCT and searching for their friend at the Grand Central Terminal. Instead they bump into each other and that's how 4 long lost brothers are reunited. And Matthew, Mark, Luke and John? Only One Angel who wanted to help! ...and now wathcing everything from above.
