Late one night while visiting his girlfriend and her military general father on a military base Doctor Bruce Banner is caught up in an accident that exposes him to large amounts of gamma radiation. After 3 days of being in a coma Bruce wakes up to see his friend Rick Jones sitting with him in a military tent. Bruce asks what happened and Rick tells him he turned into something. Bruce tries to leave but when he's stopped he gets angry and grows into a huge green rage monster. Rick tries to calm Bruce but it's no use. Meanwhile we see Bruce's girlfriend Betty Ross speaking with Dr. Leonard Samson and Dr. Donald Blake about Bruce's state and whether or not it's permanent. Just then Bruce comes rampaging through the base and accidentally crushes and kills Dr. Blake which causes the military to try and kill Bruce. After shooting him for a while the military brings out a man that can change his body into any texture or material he touches. Bruce fights this Absorbing Man for a while until General Ross gets involved and is killed by Absorbing Man. Bruce sees this and gets even angrier and larger and starts overpowering Absorbing Man until Absorbing Man manages to get his foot in some water and escape. Bruce finally calms down and turns back into normal Bruce. Bruce is later arrested and put in a prison for super powered beings called the Cube. The movie closes as we see Dr. Blake get up after being crushed and summon a hammer that transforms him into the Mighty Thor.
