This movie is about the next generation of skylanders as it begins with retelling the origin story of Spyro the dragon about how he became a member of the skylanders and how he left the Skylanders Academy to find his parents many years after Spyro’s absences the purple dragon received a love letter from his friend Cynder saying that she misses him so much when Spyro returned to the Skylanders Academy he and Cynder fell in love got married and then Spyro got Cynder pregnant with two baby dragons named Nina and Zoran who are the first students in the skylanders kindergarten where the teacher Hugo began to teach the siblings how to become heroes by showing them educational videos and giving them heroic challenges Hugo told Nina and Zoran that they are destined for greatness everything was perfect until one stormy night when it was bedtime someone broke into the Skylanders Academy kidnapped the siblings from their crib and flew away into the endless void which is home to Strykore who had revived Dark Spyro and raised Nina and Zoran as his own children for some reason that was kept as a terrible secret Strykore wanted to get revenge on the ones who had banished him to the endless void and create a army out of the inhabitants of skylands in order to take over the world Spyro and the rest of the Skylanders must reunite to travel to the endless void and save their children while Nina and Zoran try to figure out what is Strykore’s plan and how to escape from the endless void
