The movie is about a hero named Flain who is a member of a race of colorful creatures from a universe known as the Mixelverse he and his friends live together and have unique powers and abilities Flain and his friends can also do more as they can combine their powers by using the Cubit which is one of the most powerful bricks in the LEGO multiverse for many years before Flain and his friends were born the Mixels had used the Cubit to protect the Mixelverse from the king of the Nixels a manipulative tyrant who wants to bring the Mixels to the brink of extinction and conquer the conquered the LEGO multiverse by corrupting the Cubit king Nixel was eventually defeated by the maximum Mixel and banished to the endless void but many years later king Nixel discovered a way to travel the LEGO multiverse by using a magic remote as he and minions were teleported to the LEGO cinematic universe where Emmet and the gang were living peacefully until king Nixel moved in during the reign of the Nixels all of the inhabitants included Emmet and the gang were taken from their homes and forced to work for the Nixels as their slaves it was a dark time for Emmet and the gang luckily one day they enough after they discovered the Mixelverse inspired by Flain who wants to be a true hero Emmet and the gang were able to steal king Nixel’s remote and used its powers to take them to Mixelverse to get help from Flain and his friends so they can take down the Nixel empire and save The LEGO multiverse
