The movie is about a young hero named who is a member of a race of colorful creatures from the Mixelverse Dribbal and his friends were friendly creatures that have special powers but Dribbal and his friends can also do more as they can be combined from one to another by using the Cubit which is one of the most powerful bricks in the LEGO multiverse for many years the Mixels had used the Cubit to protect the Mixelverse from the Nixels black and white creatures that are led by king Nixel a tyrannical mastermind who wants to bring the Mixels to the brink of extinction and conquer the Mixelverse the evil king was eventually defeated by the maximum Mixel and banished to another dimension but the evil king had found a way to travel the LEGO multiverse by using a magic remote as the evil king were mysteriously teleported to the LEGO cinematic universe where Emmet and the gang were living peacefully until the Nixel empire began all of the inhabitants including Emmet and the gang were taken from their homes and forced to work as slaves it was very hard for Emmet and the gang luckily one day they had enough of the Nixel’s iron rule after they discovered the Mixelverse and its colorful inhabitants who had opposed the Nixels with their ability to combine their powers inspired by Dribbal who wants to become someone special Emmet and the gang broke into the vault to steal the remote control that brought him to their world and to go get help from the Mixels and take down the Nixel empire
