Synopsis

Vietnam war escapee Edward Prendick is rescued by alcoholic degenerate Montgomery Davenport, and taken back to a mysterious island where Montgomery and the doctor surgically turn animals into grotesque "men", as the island's hierarchy slowly descends into madness.

  • mr_blue_sky Jeesh, bad enough Ol' Eddie was a POW who barely managed to survive, but now he has to also survive the events of the novel as well? I think I feel bad for him more than any iteration by far.
