A young gypsy girl named Esmeralda, captures the hearts of many men including the nefarious Archdeacon Claude Frollo who is tortured by his lust for her and the rules of the Notre Dame Cathedral. Frollo sends his servant, Quasimodo, to kidnap her but in the resulting frenzy, he is sentenced to be flogged. Esmeralda eventually saves him, and with this, Quasimodo falls hopelessly in love with her. It's through this, that a story of betrayal, murder, love, and torture is unfolded with these characters and centered around the Notre Dame of Paris. read more
