  • misterwolf Plot: A squadron of knights defeat black armored crusaders during a violent battle. The captain of the knights, Artemis Menethil, discovers a strange card that has the appearance of a palace with an evil, sinister look. Artemis and her men return to the kingdom of Azura, where she reunites with her secret daughter Anna. The next day, she gives the card to King Benjamin Magnus, who deduces the evil palace to be in Scotland and is ruled by his rival, Roderick Tiberius. He sends Artemis and the knights of Azura to a nearby crusade base; they capture one of them and kill the rest before returning to Magnus' palace to interrogate their new prisoner.

  • misterwolf The crusader reveals that Tiberius plans to enslave Azura and says that Magnus and his army will lose. Artemis then swiftly executes the overconfident crusader for slandering the name of Azura, but not after the secret that Anna is her daughter becomes public to the entire kingdom, having been deduced by Tiberius himself.

  • misterwolf Octavius tries to arrest Artemis for keeping her daughter a secret, but Magnus silences him and reveals that he has always known about this. Relenting, Octavius apologizes to Artemis and leaves, before Artemis departs for Tiberius' palace and poses as a scholar while Magnus and his army provide a distraction for her to retrieve Tiberius' plans. Although many die in the battle, Magnus and most of his men survive.

  • misterwolf Artemis deduces that Tiberius is a sorcerer and discloses it to Magnus, who then declares war against his rival's kingdom. Artemis reconciles with Octavius, who tells her that he should not have lashed out her and that he will not do so again. Artemis is easily defeated and wounded by Tiberius during a fierce battle, forcing Magnus' army to retreat back to Azura.

  • misterwolf After recovering, Artemis is given her late father's amulet by her grandfather Casimir, while her godfather Septimius Evicus bestows her mother's dagger to her. Preparing for a final battle, Artemis is encouraged by Princess Anna, Magnus' daughter, and Queen Cassandra, to use her dagger to kill Tiberius if Magnus' army is close to losing, as this will win Azura the war. She then promises Anna that she will return before setting out with Magnus and his army to Scotland.

  • misterwolf The battle starts with Artemis and her knights gaining the upper hand, but General Skorge, Tiberius' strongest warrior, arrives with his army and overpower and massacre many of them; knowing that he will die no matter if the battle is won or lost, Magnus is encouraged by Artemis to order a charge towards Tiberius' remaining forces. It goes well at first, with Skorge being forced to retreat after his men are all killed, but Tiberius orders an arrow storm, massacring the entire army, nearly killing Artemis and fatally wounding Magnus. However, Artemis kills Tiberius by throwing her dagger, impaling him through his heart and narrowly winning both the battle and war, while reinforcements arrive to wipe out the remaining crusaders as Skorge angrily watches from afar, swearing revenge.

  • misterwolf Magnus asks a reluctant Artemis to drive her sword through him, knowing he will not survive; to spare him pain and suffering of his injuries, Artemis tearfully agrees and impales him through his heart. Before drawing his last breath, he tells her that while she still breaths, the spirit of Azura lives, and that Anna needs her mother. A sobbing and grieving Artemis is comforted by an arriving Octavius, as he understands her pain and knows that she had no choice. As the remaining army returns to Azura with Magnus' body, Artemis reveals her reluctant killing of Magnus to the entire kingdom and his order for her to do it. The entire kingdom, although shocked, easily forgives her, knowing she only did what was right. At Magnus' funeral, Cassandra expresses her motherly love for both Artemis and Annabelle. Before the end credits roll, Artemis is consoled by Cassandra and Annabelle, and the three acknowledge that a new war is likely since Skorge is still at large.
