  • misterwolf Plot: Spending two years eating venison in order to survive while hiking up the snowy mountains and preparing for another encounter with Bigfoot, Allison Lane and her expedition retreat to a cave in the midst of a winter storm. Although Allison has let go of her desire for revenge over her husband David’s death, she still has a personal grudge against Bigfoot and remains extremely bitter.

  • misterwolf Gabriel Philips discovers that he is dying of pneumonia, though he only tells Allison. He assures her that he will push on as hard as he can until he cannot go any further. Will Carter finally explains what encouraged him to track Bigfoot; as a young man, he had received news that his brother was found dead in the woods. He examined his body at the hospital and secretly realized that no ordinary animal could have done this, thus believing that it was Bigfoot, and he vowed to track him down.

  • misterwolf As they push on, Allison is asked if she has any surviving family left; she replies “Yes. A daughter whose uncle refuses to return her to her own mother.” Gabriel’s condition worsens, which forces Allison to order the expedition to set up camp in the woods. She sets several bear traps and then enters her tent and lays down on her mattress. She then falls asleep and has a memory dream of David teaching her how to hunt squirrels. They share a laugh as they eat them, before eventually finishing and retiring to their bedroom.

  • misterwolf Allison wakes up and has a moment of silence before she cries in joy as she thought she had lost that memory. Bigfoot suddenly appears and attacks them, before they are saved by poacher Collin Simmons, who provides them with a stockpile of venison and squirrel meat to give them a head start up the mountains.

  • misterwolf Ellie Lane, David’s sister, arrives and joins the expedition. As Allison tracks a deer, Bigfoot suddenly attacks her, before she runs back to the camp to prepare an explosive trap for the creature. Meanwhile, Warren Quinto snipes Bigfoot to hold him long enough for Allison to bag the trap, and then the expedition heads up higher in the mountains. Gabriel has become too frail to go any higher than they currently are now after running, so Allison sets the trap and Will sets up the camp.

  • misterwolf Bigfoot arrives and attacks them. Allison shoots him several times, and stabs him with a rebar, before shooting the trap, making it explode and setting Bigfoot on fire. He then falls down to his near-demise, before landing in the water. Allison is encouraged by a dying Gabriel, who then tells her “My little Allison… I will always be with you”, before succumbing to his pneumonia. A heartbroken but moved Allison and her expedition proceed to climb up the mountain; Allison’s breathing and sniffling is heard throughout the end credits.
