After Ryan Choi exists S.T.A.R. Labs to take on a university physics position originally held by his old professor Ray Palmer, he soons discovers through hidden recording that Ray has been operating as the superhero known as the Atom, who's been stuck in the microverse for the past half year. Ryan is then instructed to take on Ray's bio-belt, and must travel to remote locations throughout the world in order to obtain enough dwarf star energy for the rescue, incuding his old home in China.
