Synopsis

Brainiac sends Doomsday to kill Superman, as well as blocking out the sun to make Superman powerless, as Superman is fueled by sunlight. Brainiac teams up with Lex Luthor, but Superman is resurrected by a Kryptonian robot, K. Brainiac wishes to possess K and its technology. Powerless, the resurrected Superman is sheathed in a robotic suit formed from K itself until his powers return, courtesy of sunbeams, and defeats Brainiac.

    • michaelcosby   @pumpkinchowcorg I've read all 3(?) script drafts for Superman Lives and Smith's was the only one that made sense to me. Simple and to the point, felt like proper 90s Superman film. He wrote the script as a fanboy but given the other options and how comic book films are handled today, perhaps that's what Superman Lives needed and deserved.
