An origin story for superman going from Kansas farm boy to daily planet reporter and superhero on his first day of work he meets Lois Lane a Jimmy Olson and whislt interveiwing him becomes friends with Lex Luthor who is secretly the man behind the Metahumans he is facing including the main villain of this movie Metallo it ends in Lex revealing to Clark that he is the one who wants to stop Superman because he does not trust him since he is an alien ( learnt on a "I spent the night with superman scene") leading to the friendship between the characters ending throughout the movie he is in a love triangle with girlfriend Lana Lang who his relationship with is becoming strained since he moved to metropolis and clark meeting Lois Lane who is in love with superman and the movie ends with a Lana and Clark ending their relationship on good terms but he is in love with someone else this is his end to full transition to his new life the final shot of the film is not of superman but of clark moving into his new apartment with Jimmy at 1938 Sullivan Place and even tho its not a great place he has a large smile on his face.
